About Us
A little about ourselves...
We work as a husband and wife team with several fulltime and part time staff. Between Iain and Helen we have over 45 years of floristry experience. We have won the Gold medal at the Ellerslie Flower Show four times, Auckland Interflora Florist of the year, and runner up Teleflora Florist of the year for New Zealand, and also several other floristry awards over the years. Iain represented New Zealand at the Interflora world cup in Melbourne 2005. Iain is on the Board of directors for the Interflora Pacific unit,of which he has been appointed Vice President in March 2008; and has also served on the board for the New Zealand Professional Florists. In 2007 Iain gained the highest Professional accreditation NZPF Master Florist. He will also Judge again at the Ellerslie International Flower Show in Christchurch for the 7th year running.Iain is at present on the Interflora Pacific Unit planning team to host the 2010 Interflora World Cup in Shanghai, China.
We have won 4 Gold Medals at the Auckland Ellerslie Flower Show in the professional florist category, after this honour Iain was on the Judging team at the flower show for a further 7 years until the last show in Auckland in 2007. Iain will coninue to be a judge at the Ellerslie Flower Show Christchurch in March 2009. Iain Stephens Floral Design has creative deigners who have had intesive onsite training and hold Interflora Pacific Unit Ltd certification.We have been leading the way in designing flowers in Auckland for the last 19 years and pride ourelves in our achievments.
